I recently put up the first part of my video review of Windows 7 tablets for art, music and game development, highlighting the Acer Iconia w500 series, in particular the w501p. It should be noted that there is, as far as I can judge, only one minor difference between the w500 and w501p. That is simply that the w501p offers 3G and seems to mostly be available in Europe, perhaps Asia as well.
Both would make a great buy in my opinion, depending on availability. They are the best I’ve seen in terms of balance of all features, specs, connectivity options etc.
